Chartered in 1941,  With the name of Choctaw, changing to Ashwanchi Kinta sometime after 1955.   The original totem was a beaver in Dance Regalia which is believed to be why the translation of Dancing Rabbit. (Feathers of the headdress appeared to be rabbit ears and tail tough to interpret.) The actual Choctaw translation of Ashwanchi Kinta is Busy Beaver.

The totem became a more obvious Busy Beaver around 1970 first appearing on the S7 lodge flap.
