Engaging in scouting offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of the natural world. As a Scout, you'll acquire the skills to camp and hike with minimal environmental impact, along with the knowledge of responsible land stewardship. You'll have the chance to observe wildlife from a close vantage point and expand your understanding of the surrounding nature. Abundant skills await your mastery, enabling you to not only enhance your own abilities but also to share your acquired wisdom with others.

Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing are programs of the Boy Scouts of America—so in that sense, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers are all members of the same organization. However, they are each very different programs. Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program designed specifically to address the needs of younger boys and girls. Boy Scouting is designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. Venturing provides positive experiences through exciting and meaningful youth-run activities that help members pursue their special interests, grow by teaching others, and develop leadership skills.
